Tax Mate is a small home based accounting practice established in 2012.

We get it right for you

We've listened to your concerns regarding fading dockets, and you're right to be concerned.  If the ATO can't read it then they are very unlikely to accept it as a deduction. If your receipts are fading now, what might they look like in a years time - remember they must last a minimum of 2 year, often 5 and 7 years for a company?

 

We now scan all dockets and receipts to a pdf file as a standard part of all tax return and bookkeeping services, to preserve the information. If you are a registered client with us, we encourage you to drop (send) your receipts to us on a regular basis throughout the tax year so as to avoid fading prior to the completion of your tax return
